fingerbend, by Will Luers

{ fingerbend }

An insomniac writer moves to a small coastal town to research the disappearance of a cult web artist.

Fingerbend  is a collage fiction, written, coded and designed simultaneously, as integrated acts of composition/decomposition. The work experiments freely with the liminality of the multimedia book as a commingling of genres, forms and fictive spaces.

"The people in that town were not very honest, but they were lazy. And strangers never lingered there. It was not an attractive place, it would have been difficult to explain why it was a place at all. It was called Fingerbend- no one knew why."
